Your View of Growth & Success will either prevent or feed your doubt spirals

Have you ever found your self in a place of questioning whether or not your achievement or level of growth is 'enough' or makes a difference? If so, just know that you're not alone, and having journeyed through that on multiple occasions, I want to share some things with you that can act as a reminder and a mini prompt to keep you celebrating your wins.

So, this time around I will be talking about, Identifying What Growth and Success mean for You. After you've done this then you need to make a map to help you get where you need to go. This map can include both small and large targets and also halfway points. The truth of the matter is a milestone is simply a milestone and should be treated as such. So, basically I'm saying that you are to celebrate the different milestones that you will achieve along the journey whether big or small.

The concept of growth and success varies from business to business and creative to creative. That's why it is absolutely important for you to identify and internalize your own vision for yourself and your business or creative expressions and strategically work towards it.

Not identifying this can lead you to compare the success and growth of your business and self to others. This can be detrimental as it can cause you to put unnecessary pressure on yourself, burnout, feelings of discouragement, and also ultimately lack of gratitude as you won't be able to recognize or celebrate milestones you accomplish for what they are.

While in the instance of a business or content creator with a small team it can cause you to also put the same unnecessary pressure on your team that can lead to burnout in the long run as your team may not have the resources or manpower to operate as another business.

A more critical aspect of this is even the loss of a key team member from all that pressure.

So as I said earlier growth and success will vary or look different from business to business and creative to creative.

Success and growth are greatly impacted by factors such as the size of your business, team size, available resources, your target audience or market, consistency in showing up and managing the platforms that you are working with, the marketing and business strategies you are utilizing and monitoring, measuring and evaluating your performance over a specified time period.

I implore you to take all that I've said into consideration and work on what you need to work on to get better. But never compare yourself to another Business Owner or Content Creator you know exactly what you're doing and the hard work that you've been putting in. So don't discount yourself!
