What You Need to Build a Solid Business Foundation

Can your business withstand the shifting seasons or will it crumble at the slightest gust of wind? Yeah, I hope you saw that imagery vividly; because it’s so important to see your business like a house that’s being built.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

If the foundation has not been properly laid, how do we expect to build more and more stories on top of that unstable foundation? The structure will crumble at some point.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

In working with clients, I’ve been able to identify key areas that help to lay that firm foundation that businesses need to allow for healthy growth and scaling.

Confidence & Clarity

As a business owner, it is so important to first believe in yourself and the value that flows through you. Your value ends up being in-sync with what you bring to the table when persons work with you. So, if you don’t believe in yourself and the value that you possess, you’re not gonna show up consistently. You’re not gonna make the effort to position yourself as an authority. So... how do we fix that? Gain CLARITY. Do what it takes to understand exactly who you are, your strong points, what you want to provide, and how you want to position yourself (niche & brand identity). Coupled with this, ensure that you are proficient and comfortable in your offerings. Become an expert in your field by being in constant research and continually practicing and honing your skills. This in turn will boost your confidence knowing that you most assuredly know what you are doing. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Community & Conversions

In developing a business and a truly aligned brand, the aim should be to develop a community that you actively serve and journey with. This allows persons to see what you’re really about and understand who they will be working with if they so choose, while you establish yourself as an authority in the space. This eventually leads to conversions as you would put strategies in place to nurture particular persons who show an interest in working with you. Conversions will come once the community and audience that you have garnered gets to know you and trust you. This then means that you will have to allow your personality or brand personality to shine through your messaging. Community also involves surrounding yourself with persons in your industry. Social media is a great way to do this.
