Stop. Don’t get flustered. Take a few deep breaths. No worries. We’ve all been there, especially at the start. Sis, you’ve got this!
Here are three reasons you may be feeling like things aren’t connecting re your biz:
🌻 You haven’t identified who is most likely to benefit from your services⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌻 You haven’t built a solid brand⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌻 Sounds about right? Aight, let’s work on fixing that! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. Do some thinking and work on establishing the purpose behind your biz.
Think about what it is that you want your product/service to provide/do for your clients. Question yourself. When they subscribe to your business, what is the effect or end result that you are aiming for? Is it so that businesswomen can feel more confident about themselves? Is it so that persons can manage their money better, is it that you want biz owners to have more time on their hands after you’ve served them? The answer to this line of questioning will produce your why and ultimately form the foundation of your business. How? At this point you know exactly what you are prepared to offer to your clients; and now you can move forward to now finding who is best in need of your product/service.
2. Decide on the persons who stand to benefit the most from your offer(s) by identifying your ideal client.
Your audience is not as broad as you think. Here is where you need to be ultra-specific. List out the qualities that your ideal client possesses. Is this person desirous of financial freedom? Does this person want to live in an amazing home that they are willing to pay for? Is this person someone who wants to improve their health? There are many questions to ask, but the end result should be that of an overall personality profile, causing you to see them as a human being and not a mythical creature.
As you visualize this ideal client, who they are, and the things in their lives, think about what would motivate them. The more details you flesh out is the easier your ideal client will be to target because now you know how they think. Once you know this you can begin to tailor your brand messaging as a part of your strategy, so that when potential clients encounter your brand, they will know how your product/service will enable them to achieve their goals.
3. Building a solid brand doesn’t just help persons to journey with your business and get to know your story.
Brand development gives a well-needed structure to your business and helps you to figure out how you are going to deliver your services. It helps you to ensure that your biz is solution-oriented, customer-centric, relatable, accessible, and more. Another thing to note is that your brand is aligned with your business objectives. How will the way you display your product/service attract your ideal clients and how will the way you conduct business with them allow them to return and refer. So! I know that might have been a lot to process but how are we doing? Good? I hope these tips are enabling you to think a lot clearer.
